Social Media sites should impose a tax on the use of hashtags to help straighten out how a lot of people use them. Like, the common ones are free to use, like #food or #Sherlock or whatever, but the obscure ones cost like a dollar, like #GleesonHighMarchingBand or #DavidsPhotoClassFinal.
But most importantly, people should be taxed hugely when they try to have a conversation though hashtags. No more #mylifeisawfulbecauseImsixteenandbored or #dontjudgemebecauseIshipeveryfictionalfantasycharacterthathaseverbeencreated.
Really, if someone else on this planet uses the same ridiculous hashtag like #myexBBFsboyfriendruinedmysweet16becausehetriedtogetwithmysister, then there is something seriously wrong with this world.
